Hi,

I wish to create a MC that will duplicate itself x amount of times. Then, I want those MC’s to bounce and float around a confined area, detecting collision of each other and the frame its within.

Does anyone know of a good, straight forward tutorial for me to follow. I’ve searched and come up with hundreds, so I’d appreciate help in narrowing it down.

Cheers. YP

THere is a random movement tutorial on this site.

If you found hundreds of tutorials of exactly what you want to do, you should try those.

None of them were really exactly what I wanted to do to be honest. But I will check the tutorial out on here and start from there.

Thanks.

Here is a tutorial on hitTest.

There are 2 different random motion tutorials, on for Flash 5 and one for MX, be sure to do the right tutorial or it will not work.

> I want those MC’s to bounce

are the mc’s circles or boxes.
It’s easy… . … … well easier with boxes than with circles
