# Select items of a layer from TimeLine window

Is there anyway to select the items in a layer from timeline?  
Always been a nagging thing for me.

I mean you click the layers frame 1, for instance, how do I get the item on the frame without having to hide other items or such. Hoping there is a key combo or such that I just haven’t found yet.

Thanks in advance, one way or another.
