# Send Text File With Flash

I have a Flash app that generates a formatted file, that I want to save/send this file some where, and then using the PHP’s shell\_exec command to open a program and send it the formatted file. Finally, I want to take the $output from the command and send it back to Flash 8. How do I go about sending the file to PHP and send it to the program through the shell\_exec? Thanks for any help.

It would be easier if you just send the information in a variable and then create/save the file in PHP. To do so you need to use sendAndLoad class. This will send the information and return to Flash any variables you wish to send.

up he’s right, php can render xml files, more useful than text files
