# Sending text to a dynamic text box when a button is pressed

I am in the middle of developing my first flash game, and I was wondering how to send something to a dynamic text box (named status\_txt) when a button is pressed, when a player presses a button to attack, in the box, it says ‘playerone is taking an attack action’.
