hey! after reading all the stuff that senocular writes and how well he explains i think he should wirte a book… who agrees with me? I would buy the book 😃

books dont make money (well, unless I wrote the next Harry Potter).
Besides, I like sticking to the free, easily distributable internet format.

I voted yes _only_ because I would own a book on Actionscript written by Sen :beam:.
However, I don’t think he should actually write a book. He does good enough with his tutorials and forum help. A little searching is worth the free info… and you reduce the risk of nasty paper cuts.

totally agree with lost, his book would be awesome, and I voted yes, but then I’d have to pay for his wonderful help 😉

Actually, I have written a book in the past. Its called
“The Shortest Story Ever Told by Man”
It consists of two words,
“The End”
followed by 300 pages of blank pages.
It was my first masterpiece and I wrote it at the ripe old age of 12.

Actually, it was only published by my neighbor, who too, at the time, was 12. Actually, he only got to “ever” and stopped writing because he said he didn’t have the patience to write an entire book from scratch. I think it got thrown away after that, hense its value.

Books should not be written by people who dont want to.
it comes across in the material.
if sen wants to write an AS book, go4it - ud get lotsa support from us here kirupians no doubt
but sen sed he doesnt want to write a book so ill stick to reading his free online material (dang ;)) which personally i prefer to books neway as you can hav partial sources, you can use the find function, less head movement involved in switching between sen and flash (just hit alt+tab! no head movement required!)… and of course, as lostinbeta said earlier, the risk of papercuts is greatly reduced if its online!
so i vote no coz sen sed he doesnt want to write one so leave the poor man (i presume ;)) in peace! 😛

Hey Sen,
It would be cool though if you did sort of compile your stuff into some sort of book, “best of”. I mean your help and advice is outstanding…i remember when I had a major assignment 2 years ago Trev, and you were helping me non stop all night! 🙂 Maybe a short compilation, nothing glossy where profits could go to something like the hunger site?

i think you shouldn´t write a book… just a really long essay on everything you know and hand me over.
and i promisse to you i wouldn´t dare to sell it as my own 😉
