# Server-sent Event and Mozilla

Am I correct to say that currently Mozilla browsers do not support server-sent events?

If so, does that mean that the only way to create, say, a chat web application, is to have the client-side constantly “refresh” to check for new data?  
(for browsers other than Opera)
