# Set the starting volume of volume\_user slider

Hi,

Thanks Kirupa, for this useful utility ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/volume\_slider.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/volume_slider.htm)). I succeeded to make it work, but my sound library has sounds with too high volume, so I want to set the starting volume lower than actual. How could I do that? Of course I could recreate all my sounds, but I have about 1500 of them…
