# Setting up apache on my home network

Hi,

I’m having a bit of a problem. I set up Apache/PHP/MySQL on my computer, and it works fine for me. However, I have a friend over and we’re trying to get him connected to my server set up, and we can’t figure out how.

The network name for my computer is raf, so I figured i’d just use [http://raf](http://raf) - that works for me on my computer, but it doesn’t work for my friend.

I have a dynamic IP, and we’re both connected to a router at my home. Can anyone help?
