# Shape tweening

sometimes, when doing shape tweening, the animations turn out funny :x  
for example, if you rotate an object just a few degrees, the animation would turn out more than 360 degrees:(  
_see attached movie_

:q:anyone know how to go around this?

Go to Help (in the programs top menu thing), and select “Using Flash”

Run a search for “Shape Hints”, this will teach you how to use them and they might be able to help you out.

Other than that, I have never motioned tween anything too complex where it had problems.

Neither did I until Ilays mentioned them before. They definitely come in handy, but I don’t shape tween too often, so I don’t know much about it.
