Hey folks,

I have always been a fan of Kirupa’s glass shiny orbs. However, now I would like to do something more difficult with them.

Here is what I would like to do:
[_]I have a XML with some data;
[_]I extracted a colour attribute for a Actionscript variable;
[\*]Based on that variable, I would like to give my orb a certain colour…
Now, I don’t know how to do that… I have checked the beginGradientFill colour but that would mean making the whole orb through Actionscript which is almost impossible I guess.

Is there some “smart” way or workaround to do that?

Thanks in advance! That is really important for me!

Cheers,

KeSh
