# Shopping Cart In Flash Mx?

I cant seem to find any answers to my question. Is making a shopping cart in flash possible? thanks in advance for any answers guys.

Hi hermosa,
yes it is more than possible. I am about to start work on a project incorporating a flash shopping cart.
Working in MX you can let a user know what products he has purchased - even which products he has viewed with extensive use of the sharedObject.
You will need to set up a db and some kind of script ( my prefered choice is PHP4) to interact with Flash. You also need to find a payment processor that you can link into so that the site owner knows that goods have been paid for - the list of things to do ( and not to do) goes on.
I don’t think there is anything on Kirupa that can help you ( Someone please prove me wrong), but if you do a search at \*\*[actionscript.org](http://actionscript.org), \*\* , **dbflash** , and possibly **flashkit** you may find some good pointers. look in the tutorial section of each site, but I would be more inclined to search the movies and library sections.
