# Shorthand if statement

```auto

if (myBoolean){
    mc.gotoAndStop(2);
}

```

is there a way to shorten it to something like:

```auto
myBoolean ? mc.gotoAndStop(2);

```

i know how to assign a variable shorthand

```auto

var myNumber:uint = myBoolean? 1:2;

```
