# Should i charge or not charge?

Hi everyone.

Thanks for taking the time for looking at this thread.

The briefing is:

I was designing a flash web site for a restaurant, i spent about 100 hours on it and just finished it, and just today he told me he was shutting it down and he was reopening a cafe style restaurant instead. And now wants me to convert that web site to he’s new cafe.

My questions are: should i charge him for something for all the work i already did? or maybe a small cancellation fee or do do you think. I haven’t charged anything yet for the site.

I can still use the structure of the web site i built i would just need to change all the content and photos and bits and pieces.
