# Shoutbox

im sure most of you have heard about ShoutBox. if not, well its like a miniature message board except no threads or whatever. its a pretty small html file, but i was just wondering if there was anyway i could put that into flash to make it work in one of my movies. if there is, i would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me how. thanks 🙂

I think I can help you but when you say a message board  
with no threads or whatever, do you mean like a notice board with radio buttons and such or is it more like a guest book,  
both of which I can help you with.

Okay I think I have better idea of what you mean,  
I can help with such things as email and password script,  
If there is any thing specific I’m sure the rest of the flash community will chip in to help:bandit:

Yes, it’s possible. There’s a simple guestbook tutorial that you can tweak so it functions like a flash shoutbox. You just have to be able to run php scripts on your server and be able to modify file permissions (CHMOD).
