# Showing Captions in separate TextField

I’m using the FLVPlaybackCaptioning component to display captions. But I want to display them in a separate dynamic textfield (I’m doing all of this with AS3, not with the components on the stage). I tried using captionTarget and captionTargetName, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
