Say my array is [“apple”, “orange”, “cherry”].

Is there a way to search “orange” to find out what index# it is in the array?

myArray[find the index# of “orange”] which would result in “1”

(“apple” being “0” and “cherry” being 2.)

Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks in advance for any help.
