# Simple Code Help Needed

Hello. I have a bunch of text fields called box0\_txt, box1\_txt, box2\_txt, box3\_txt, etc, ect and a bunch of movie clips called bg0\_mc, bg1\_mc, bg2\_mc, bg3\_mc, ect, ect. I need help getting a simple code to work for both groups. This is what I’ve come up with:

function showMe (q) {  
if (\_root[box+q+\_mc].text == “”){  
\_root[bg+q+\_mc].\_visible = false;  
};  
}

This code is wrong, obviously, it just doesn’t seem to work. Yes I’m a pretty big newb, but I was wondering if anyone out there would help me correct this code or atleast point me in the right direction.
