# Simple preloader answer needed

i have got a flash intro and got the preloader going. But when i put it into a .html page it takes forever to load (and its like 1 frame, could there be a reason for this??) and my preloader doesnt seem to show up! Does the preloader need to be in a seperate .swf file or layer or scene than the intro is in and if so can you tell me how to do that as i am a fair beginner???
