# Simple question - converting entire stage to movieclip

I have created a pretty simple animation on the stage with several layers and movieclips. I now realize that I want to convert everything on the root timeline to a movieclip so I can easily move it over into another project’s library.

What’s the procedure to do this? I know I’ve done it once before, but I don’t recall how.
