I was following this tutorial about making smooth transitions between the loading of external .swf movies. Here’s the page [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions2.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/../developer/mx2004/transitions2.htm)

I’m very new to actionscript and therefore I’m having a little trouble with code. The tutorial is based on .swf movies that are local. Mine however, are remote. So they would have “[http://www.sitename/folder/flash.swf](http://www.sitename/folder/flash.swf)” Here’s the code from the tuturial;

on (release) { if (\_root.currMovie == undefined) { \_root.currMovie = “main”; container.loadMovie(“main.swf”); } else if (\_root.currMovie != “main”) { if (container.\_currentframe \>= container.midframe) { \_root.currMovie = “main”; container.play();}}}

I just need to update where it says “main” to my remote url address. I tried doing that but am having issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated-
