# Simple question that i can't figure it out

this[“menu\_bar.browser.tumb.pic”+var].\_name

what is the error with this syntax

if i can do it this way  
this[“mc”+var].\_name  
why can’t i do it the same way like the above syntax?  
was it becase of the dot ?  
How do I rewrite the above syntax?
