# Simulate Key Press

how do i simulate that i key has been pressed. I know theres a better way to say this, but I’ve searched for about a half an hour and am completely stuck at what else to search for.  
Sort of like… I hope theres an easy way/possible way.  
pushKeyUp(keyCode);  
pushKeyDown(keyCode);
