You are probably right. I never bothered to check his own siteā€¦which is on a .tk account and not working for me. Sigh - I should have known better than to trust the SOTW posters for actually having read the rules :stuck_out_tongue:

If goodslice were out, which other site would you all recommend? I donā€™t think it is fair to the other contestants to have mn8 win.

I emailed goodslice about this when he submitted it, but I havenā€™t got any reply. So I say disqualify.

In the last SOTW thread I explicitly put a post saying **DONā€™T POST ANYMORE AFTER 10 SUBMISSIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, 4 SUBMISSIONS FROM NOW. **There was still a submission too much, and Iā€™m sure that there would have been more if I hadnā€™t closed the thread. Sigh.

I donā€™t understand why one would post someone elseā€™s site for SOTW. I mean even if you didnā€™t read the rules, why would you do that :lol:? It makes no sense.

I donā€™t mind having a revote, but how about we just leave it as it stands? mn8 is a great site, and it is unfortunate that goodslice was not the creator of the site. In the future, we will all be a little bit more careful in making sure the submitter is in fact the designer :slight_smile:

That is weird. So the person who submitted to mn8 really is the same person? I PMā€™ed goodslice, but he hasnā€™t replied to my message. I forgot to enable tracking on the PM, so Iā€™m not sure if he even opened the message :frowning:

Canā€™t you just get his password and login to his account and see if he has read it yet. Or check his last online time and then what time you sent the PM.

i thought struck design only helped mn8 with the coding of the site, i dont think struckdesign created the whole of the mn8 site.

Well, itā€™s not said that goodslice isnā€™t the creator of it either. Though it looks like he isnā€™t, after all it is possible that he is. Gah. Chaos.

Iā€™ve been gathering some intelligence, and everything points to goodslice being a member of Struck.

  1. All the posts goodslice made are in SOTW, and each submission was either designed by struck, or struckā€™s site itself.
  2. Goodslice is located in Utah (or so says his profile), Struck is also located in Utah, Salt Lake City.
  3. When goodslice submitted struck, he said ā€œour own siteā€.
  4. He last visited 22 July, seemingly to have ignored Kirupaā€™s pm.

If he had placed in his profile the URL for struck or mn8, I wouldnā€™t be too worried :slight_smile:
