# Slide and Fade procedure

Hey gang,

I’m looking for some pointers in finding help or existing tutorials dealing with a slider / image fade procedure. Here’s what I’d like to do:

Imagine something like a stereo equalizer. When the slider is at the top, the graphic (appearing in an empty movie clip) is at 100% alpha. When at the bottom, it’s at 0% alpha … with increments of alpha in between.

I’m probably looking at some actionscript dealing with drags and fades, huh? ( :thumb: yeah baby, I’m good! :whistle: ) LOL.

Please give me some direction as to what I should search for / do.
