# Slider

I have

a) main bar  
b) Text field within a Button within a movie clip so I can duplicate the movie and assign a var as text to label the button  
c) slider.

I want to be able to slide the slider when I have clicked the button (the button will load content relating to tto show that the page content relates to the text label of the button). so I need an on clip event(butoondown) to some how figure whether the slider is right or left of the button that it to be pressed this will provide my -ve / +ve direction for the slider to move in. then loop until the position of the slider is under the button that has been pressed somehow having done a easing of the slider to the position under the button.

How thats clear. I’m sure its really simple but I’ve had a brain plug. Oh and if possible Flash 5 compatible
