guess I am the only one that does not particularly care for it…the buttons bother me for some reason.

I like the site, but I gotta go with 3d on the buttons. I like them, I just don’t love them.
With that being said you gotta love any site that lists [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) in the top of the resources.

the inner glow does not suit them or the site well. They kinda look like frontpage buttons. And now I think about it the drop shadows on the main interface and the buttons is a bit weird.

im looking at this site on a 1600X1200 res screen and i can see the black sides on the left and right on the site, and the intro and fade in for the audio player just looks strange to me because they run over these black parts. thats one thing.
I have to agree with DDD about the buttons. i think the panel is too large making the buttons too big and making the font seem small. i wouldnt increase the size of the font but i would first decrease the size of the panel and then i would add some tracking to it and try to give it some width also the drop shadows on the type for the menu dont look right, too dark and really not needed. its white on a grey background? why would you need a deep dark drop shadow?
I dont mind the animation on the button and i like the mouse follower but its that font treatment again, i think it would of been nicer if the type went orange or have the animation like he had on slim studio (rotating thing) rather than a orange tint glow for mouse over.
like. mouse over, rotate over once and when its rotates to hide the white and then rotates to a orange version of the type.
anyway, he won site of the week here… its a nice site but well lucky to get SOTW.
