# Smartclip Nav. tutorial problem?

So I just did the turorial … [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/ani\_smartclipnav.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/ani_smartclipnav.htm)  
and all works great except actually making each  
individual clip function as its own button… What would be the most effective  
way or method via action script to make this work?  
The suggestion in the tut was to place an invisible button over the clip…  
but I know that by doing so you no longer have rollover rollout reaction with the button that sits inside the clip… making the smartclip useless… so any help here with the best method to go about making use of these smartclips?

I too just went through the Smart Clip Navigation tutorial and came across the exact same problem. Putting invisible buttons over the top of a movie clip button renders the movie clip on(rollOver) functions useless.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
