# So I ordered my laptop

I bought an eMachines M6811, it’s coming in the mail in a few days and I don’t like to make another “what can my system handle” thread but laptops aren’t my area of specialty.

My specs (got an excellent price)

AMD Mobile 64bit, 3400+  
1.25gb DDR RAM 333mhz  
ATI Radeon 9600 Mobile 64mb  
80gb HD (found out after its only 4500rpm)  
VIA Chipset

I was hoping to run Half-Life2, could my system handle it at normal settings? The video card is aging but im hoping the cpu/ram could make up for it.

Im not to concerned about gaming since I’ll be mostly working with Photoshop/ZDE. Just checking 😃
