Some easing on my captions and ideas?

Excellent Scotty, thats exactly what I was after.

Just one more thing if you dont mind, is it possible for the caption itself to fade in. I know i tried this, but found it was either true of false (on or off)
despite me adding a tween for the caption mc, it had no apparent effect.

Is this even possible Scotty??

yea its like only 11:30 over here  Not to late

Trevor, you better share your sample when its done! :stuck_out_tongue:

Cheers!

lol I will do, once I have an effect, I will post it up for you. Have you not been following ?

Lol

No worries

Trev

I have been, but I want to see YOUR FINISHED PRODUCT!

Big wet hugs,

late, late, late=)
Here you go.
I embedded the font on your hoover and removed all onClipEventcode.

Well scotty, I worked from your modifications, and found that due to the changes the effect lost that cool smoothness, when moving the mouse away from the button like end of area other side, and re hover over the button on the original before the fade in, the effect is better, it kind of swoops in.

Using the fade in alternative, that does not happen. It really stays close to the actual button on move around the area, and back to the button.

If this does not make sense, ignore me.

If you have a solution to this then please fire away. Oh and thanks for your help in making the caption smooth rolling.

And Steady, hope the caption is ok for you, with any luck you will be able to incorporate this into your own flash projects, it should be good.

I would like the fade effect also, but if not possible, I am very happy with the outcome, as previously my captions did have some motion, i.e using a similar method but without the easing.

Anyways I will check this tomorrow in the hope of advancing it even further :).

Night all

Trev

Hmm, not sure what you’re after, something like this?

Scotty your the man, exactly what I was after, god its weird how the text has gone funny like that, its looks aweful :(. werd, hey while your here, and thank you so much for that, god I wish I could just change it as easy as you could :).

the mouse.hide() and show dont work when you publish the movie in version seven, is there an alternative for version 7 ?

I love the final output by the way :).

Yes, use Mouse.hide() / Mouse.show() (with a capital M) :wink:
