OK! I have an issue that is sort of above my head. I would like to add a parameter to a function inside the SoundSync.as file from:
[http://www.adobe.com/devnet/actionscript/articles/cue\_points\_audio\_02.html](http://www.adobe.com/devnet/actionscript/articles/cue_points_audio_02.html)

I wanted to add a boolean value to the function parameters that would allow me to programmatically choose whether or not to show or hide an object on the screen. For instance, if i have 5 objects pop up based on cue points then have them hide based on more cue points. If this function would accept another parameter I could do this.

Here is the code I believe I should be concerned with:

> // Add Cue Point
> public function addCuePoint(cuePointName:String, cuePointTime:Number):Void {
> \_cuePoints.push(
> {
> type: “cuePoint”,
> name: cuePointName,
> time: cuePointTime,
> target: this
> }
> );
> \_cuePoints.sortOn(“time”, Array.NUMERIC);
> }
> I figured I could just do this( **BOLD Text** ):

// Add Cue Point
public function addCuePoint(cuePointName:String, cuePointTime:Number,\*\* cuePointVis:Boolean)\*\*:Void {
\_cuePoints.push(
{
type: “cuePoint”,
name: cuePointName,
time: cuePointTime,
**vis: cuePointVis,**
target: this
}
);
\_cuePoints.sortOn(“time”, Array.NUMERIC);
}
This doesn’t work. I guess this is just a bit out of my league.
