# Split Screen

My uncle has given me a SWF file that needs redesign/updating. However, as the SWF was created a few years ago he is unable to get the FLA file so I cant view the source code. I’ve tried using google to convert SWF to FLA but no luck.

Basically mu uncle has this SWF that is bascially like a mini website and when you click on this button it splits the screen/movieclip etc into 2. i.e. a document that when you scroll in one half it also scrolls in the other half.

Ive tried googling for ages, ive tried reflection classes using action script 2 however this doesnt seem to work properly as it onyl reflects a quater of the image. stumped why its doing this!

Im still currently searching thought Id post to see what answers i can get. I am not a coder so I cant write action script but i can read and edit and understnad what the script does. tutorials would be greatful.

What about duplicating a movie clip and linking them together so when i scroll one the other scrolls… could this be a work around?
