i feel bad for the nets. 2 yrs in a rowā€¦oh well. I didnā€™t see a single dribble of the NBA Finals this year. congrats to spurs fans. ---

yeah, but the Nets deserve to win it next year, they played hard, but if they loose Jason Kidd, then its gonna be hard. Congrats to the Spurs though, putting together a 19-0 run in the 4th quarter is not easy. it was a pretty good game, though.šŸ™‚ ---

the nba finals havenā€™t been the same since '98 when jordan retired and the bulls were dismantled. maybe itā€™s just me (being the hardcore bulls fan that i was). donā€™t get me wrong, both teams have some very good players-- tim duncan, jason kidd, kenyan martin, david robinson (well he was good once)ā€“but i just couldnā€™t make myself root for either team. whatā€™s an NBA final without the flamboyant antics of a dennis rodman? or the subtle leadership of scottie pippen? or his airness himself, michael jordan? thatā€™s just my opinion. -teet ---

Well, if Jason Kidd leaves the Nets, which I am guessing he will, the Nets probably wonā€™t make it next yearā€¦or will they? There are rumors that Kidd may join SA. ---

I have the 1998 NBA Finals on tapeā€¦itā€™s my pride and joy šŸ™‚ I pull them out from time to time and watch themā€¦itā€™s amazing how I, a huge Bulls fan, could forget how good MJ and the Bulls actually were. Someday, when Iā€™m old, Iā€™m going to make my grandchildren watch themā€¦just to show them what Real basketball is all about. -Teet ---

Ah well spurs played well you must admit it, i think Duncan was incredible, i mean a 7 footer making plays like a guard, come on!! you see some of those crazy dishes. Still hate SA though šŸ˜› Anyway Have any of you guys watched a vintage championship, with LAkers and celtic, or boston and celtic, chicago and lakers, man those are some awesome games, seeing jordan play Magic , what a game. thats the game he did that ā€œspectacular Moveā€ went for a straight dunk, then in the air coming down switched to a left hand scoop layup!!:!: Those are the games to watch!! šŸ˜ ---

thanks to stupid FOX Sportsā€™ crappy coverage of world sports, I saw no NBA this season ā˜¹ Only shown on ESPN which comes in the most expensive packageā€¦ boooo to that. Heard Duncan was 2 blocks short of a quadruple double! Good on him for that and a nice finish to Robinsonā€™s career šŸ™‚ ---

Yeah, that was a nice finish for The Admiral. The problem with the finals this years is that no team had a superstar. Yeah, Kenyon Martin, Jason Kidd, Tim Duncan are good players, but if either team came to my town, I could care less. But if the Mavs came with Nash and Van Exelā€¦and Dirkā€¦well, I would fight for ticketsā€¦oh wait, I live in San Diego, we donā€™t have a Basketball team after the Clippers left! ā˜¹ \*Jason Kidd should go to the Spurs if he wants a ring. The best team to watch this year would have to be the Mavericks. Hands down. I also have to agree with the statement earlier about the Bulls and Lakers in the good 'ol days. Those were classics. And if Jordan didnt retire in the 93-94 season, they probably would have won 7 straight titles. ā€¦the world will never know. ---

Yeah, I am with you on the Mavericks! I really liked that team, and the owner Mark Cuban is a web-guy just like all of us =) The Mavericks had some really cool players with cool names like NAJERA and NOWITZKI and VAN EXEL! I also read today on [MSN.com](http://MSN.com) (probably in a link to espn or msnbc) that this yearā€™s finals had the lowest viewer ratings for an NBA finals in a long time. Cheers!
