# Stage.width :: OBJECT SCALING TO

I have a swf that fills the whole browser window but the content stays at 100% scale. like this:

Stage.showMenu=false;  
Stage.scaleMode=“noScale”;

However I want a solid bar in the background to be 400px high, but at the same time fill the 100% of the width of the browser window.

Any help would be appreciated.

basically, just don’t set the mc height to 100%, set it to a fixed number. you’ll also have to change your embed tag in your html, so i’d just republish.
