# Stairway to heaven - meaning

Could anyone help me out? I need to find the true ‘meaning’ to stairway to heaven, what it is really about. Ive done some researching, and the only thing i could find was that it’s about some rich chick who buys a stairway to heaven, then realizes that she can’t buy her way into heaven. That sort of what i though, the stores being closed when she gets there. Then the rest of the song throws me off :puzzled:

Anyone have any ideas? =)
