# Standalone Flash App

Hi,

A while ago I heard that you can include FlashPlayer in your projects, so that even PC’s with no FP installed can still run it (or was that with Director?). A standalone application, as it’s called. Is that possible?  
I don’t want to bother the end user with errors if their PC has no FP installed. And although it’s kind of funny to see them panic, I’ll be the good developer and take precausions if possible.

when publishing  
(for PC users) make an executable (.exe)  
(for mac users) make a projector

dunno if i answer your question…

Yes, I know, it’s already an executable.  
But my question was (sorry if I wasn’t clear): Is Flash Player included in the .exe? When Flash Player isn’t installed on the PC, will the .exe still play? Or will they be prompted to download Flash Player?

yes it is… an exe it’s a standalone app…  
no need for flash player to run…  
i used to do that when showing work on clients PC
