I have a problem with flash performance, I have some 3D scene with sphere not to complicated and a bitmap applied on it there also is a shading going on. Problem is that in flash CS4 player it runs very smooth but when I play it in the browser player it is very very slow I have attached 2 avi’s to show what I mean.

Complexity of an object has very little to do with it I have tested even on a simple plane object and it runs much better than sphere but difference between standalone and browser player is again very big.

All math is very clean and I use as3 matrix3d and vector3d so this should be no problem. I have been working on it for a long time now and just recently tried to put it into html to see it on the webpage and I have spoted this issue.

If anyone have any idea what is causing this bad performance, please let me know.

Dave
