# Statue-izing people... Is there any -good- tutorial on this?

I would like to experiment with texturizing people so they look like a statue or made of stone  
I’ve seen some examples somewhere once but i can’t seem to find any tuorials on this technique  
I can’t to get any close results by just doing the usual texturizing (blending modes and such) There is always something missing: it looks cheap and flat…  
Does anyone have any tips? I’d love to get the hang of this one thing 🙂
