i understand rberry’s method. I don’t believe (someone else may disagree) that you can utilize an uninterrupted music loop, mp3, whatever when you are loading new html pages for each section of your site. Any music playing in a flash movie embedded in your html page is going to quit/cease to exist when you load another html page b/c the flash movie no longer exists. I think you will either need to do a pop-up like you said or build your site entirely in flash (probably not an option for you…)
The other thing I would do if I was you, would be to investigate alternative methods of playing sound outside of flash (i don’t really know, javascript?, etc.) and how flash can interact with them.
rberry’s method wouldn’t really work with your type of website… because as far as I know any variables you declare in a flash movie embedded in an html page are gone once you load another html page…
