# Stop(); action doesn't seem to work

Hi All -

I feel like the I’m back to being a flash newbie - I’ve got a movie that keeps looping and doesn’t respond to any stop commands. Once the movie has stopped adhering to the “stop” command - it runs through animation faster and faster.

My scripting is essentially a bunch movieclips with gotoAndPlays from a keyPress “\<Space\>”. I’m working in Flash 8, publishing to Flash Player 7 with Action Script 1.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Any help you could give would be sooo appreciated. 👁
