# Stop timeline for few seconds?

Hi ! all

I want to stop my timeline for few seconds, how I can ???

I try with setInterval, but i think i do mistake somewhere,

Can anyone give me the exact script for that.

plz. help me in that…

gotoAndPlay(\_currentframe+1);  
clearInterval(my\_interval);  
}  
my\_interval = setInterval(unpause, 5000);  
stop();

This is for 5 seconds stop…(5000 milliseconds)

Ok… what’s the Interval thingy…? I don’t think i’ve ever come across it while I played around with AS ( nooblet here) so… what is it?
