I need help with some weird CSS I need to make links be a certain width with a gradient background and border, I can do ALL of it BUT the certain width, I have tried the usual:

```auto
a.width {
width: 200px;
}
```

BUT it doesnt work.

example would be the buttons on [www.digg.com](http://www.digg.com) on the left menu saying categories!
