# Suggestions for alternative PC DVD player

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for playing DVDs on their computer. Currently I use the Cyberlink PowerDVD software that came with the computer, but it’s not really cutting it for me in the sound department, the SPDIF-Out function that’s supposed to output raw digital data for your external surround decoder is not working properly, as it has an audible bump every few minutes or so.
