# Suggestions on how to approach creating a cool banner

Hello,

My boss wants me to create a new banner for our web site. It is a training type of site.

Can anyone give me suggestions as how to approach this, ie drop shadows or any other tip.

Right now we just have a simple colored stripe with a border around it. It really does need to be reworked.
