# Swf importing as empty frames

Swfs that I have been importing have be coming in with empty frames. I read that sometimes “Protect from Import” will be on when publishing the swf, and this is a cause of the empty frames. However, I have the original .fla file and made sure this option was not checked.

Is there another reason for the .swf files to be coming in empty?
