# SWFAddress - first site visit / address change issue

Hello,

it took me some time to figure out the SWFAddress thing, also some of the embedding scripts for SWFObject didn’t work, kept showing the alternate content.

Now it seems I got it down, from the SWF, the addresses are changing and all works well so far. However, if I enter an actual deep-linked address, for some reason the site keeps showing the “home” site. It looks like the SWFAddress.value is not set…

E.g.  
[http://www.klemennovak.com/alex](http://www.klemennovak.com/alex) …will work fine and the addresses will change  
but  
[http://www.klemennovak.com/alex/#/video/](http://www.klemennovak.com/alex/#/video/) …will not show at all.

I added a temporary string to see what the SWFAddress.value is.

If you guys could point out what I’m doing wrong, I’d love it.

Also, I am not entirely sure how to use ExpressInstall and what it actually is. If anyone can explain in a few sentences, I’d be happy.
