# Swfit 3D newbie colours question

I am creating 3D text. I want the text to be a specific colour i.e. #CC0000 but i cant see this colour on the materials toolbar. Can I make my text this colour somehow? Or am I limited in my choice?

hi  
well i can’t say if you can create that exact color but i know you can double click on the default material pic on the left side of the interface of v2 that first appears when you create text and it allows you to select from a color range chart for ambient,diffuse, and highlights
