# Swfobject and "white screen of death"

Hopefully I’m missing the obvious but on this site I made, I have a Flash “slide show” on home page for which I use swfobject:

Problem is: for a second I get this white part where the SWF is supposed to go…

I tried adding a blank 1st frame in FLA so that only the background would show up. FLA BG is same as HTML. HTML/CSS has the right color background, etc…

I tried adding the color param in swfobject call, that didn’t do anything either…

I’m out of idea… And a preloader wouldn’t help since the white seem to flash right before the SWF gets embeded by Javascript…

Anyone ever ran into the same problem? I searched here and on swfobject mailing list to no avail…
