Does any know how to create an animated gif banner using swish or flash ? An example can be found at \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*

Hey, i dont think its a animated gif, its basically a flash movie. done with alot of tweens and effects. it can be done in flash or swish. though i would use flash.
actually i think the whole top part of the site is flash, menu, logo and that banner.

heβs right. its a whole flash menu and its mostly tweening. Nothing special.

like i said its alot of tween,
pics flashing white: just using motion tween with a tint effect on some of the keyframe,
Pics moving: just using motion tween, with the position of the start point and end point in different positions .
Lines moving in left and right: basically lines draw converted into graphics ( ctl-F8) and then used motion tweens to move its position.
Alpha effects on the first image that is repeated in the background, simply a alpha of something like 30-50% on the graphic.
its hard for me to show you everything on that banner, you should experiment with flash first, everything done there is kinda easier, just give it a go , then post questions if you are having problems in attempting something.

iam not a fan of swish, too automated, but yes i pretty sure swish version 2.00 can handle image effects and tweens on some sort. try it and find out!! π
