# Symbols and Alpha MC problem

Hi guys.

I create some text “Sam”. Convert to symbol. Add key frame to frame 25. Add motion tween. At symbol one I change the alpha to zero. I hit enter… the text fades from blank to 100%.

I try and upload/publish… the text remains 100% alpha and nothing is fading in…

I have done this before… maybe I am missing something simple…
