# Symptoms ¶

So im not 100% sure what you guys are used to call these annoying marks, but from MS Office I found them called “symptoms”. I know where theyre used, but now I have really stupid problem with them…

I just simply cant find a way to trun em off from my ActrionScript screen.

Heres example what I mean…

…just imagine when you got tons of hard-to-read code and theres these ■■■■ marks all over it to piss you off. ^^

I used some key combo to enable them (it was kind of a accident) and I cant figure the combo again.

Ctrl+Shift+8

or View-\>Hidden Characters

(I’m using Flash CS3).

Well im also using Flash CS3 but dont have any “Hidden characters” in my View list. Or then im blind (like most of the time).

Well anyway ty alot. That was not so logical key combo to just figure out by my self. 😃

The command is in the tiny palette menu located at the top/right corner of the Actions panel.  
command-shift-8 is the default for OSX.
